The Great Ocean Road

The Great Ocean Road

On the south east coast of Australia, beyond the bright lights of Melbourne lies the Great Ocean Road. Synonymous with rugged coast line and crystal clear waters it is highly regarded as the ultimate Aussie road trip. Constructed by returned ANZAC soldiers following the first world war it is also the largest war memorial in the world. From koala spotting in Kennet River to the famous Twelve Apostle coastal stacks, the natural beauty of the area makes it a pleasure to travel through. Here are some snaps from our travels along The Great Ocean Road.

It’s gorgeous! We did it in Autumn and it was pretty chilly but some awesome skies to photograph. Plus it wasn’t very busy at all. I imagine it’s quite unbearable in summer!

  2. These are awesome! Isn’t the first picture on the fourth row an actual painting? I think I have seen a painting of that landscape somewhere.

  3. Amazing! Lucky you:)

  4. Wow! What a scenery! That must have been quite an adventure.
